Magical Mystery Four – Beatles & 60’s Tribute Band


Travel back to the Swinging Sixties, to a time of mini-skirts, Mods & rockers, England wining the World Cup & rise of the most influential band of all time! Coming to Winterbourne on Friday 24th February 2017 is of one of the South West’s most authentic Beatles sound-alike bands, ‘The Magical Mystery Four’. In a rare Bristol appearance, at the Winterbourne & District Community Association Centre (WADCA), the band will be performing one set of Beatles hits and a second set of 1960s Beat Boom classics comprising hits from the Rolling Stones, Kinks; Beach Boys, Monkees & many more.

The Magical Mystery Four is led by two brothers from Weston-Super-Mare, Adam & Alex Lipinski. Adam is known as a performer in his own right, as well as for composing & performing the music used in the Sky TV programme ‘The Café’, which was set in Weston-Super-Mare. Alex is a singer-songwriter who has a wide-ranging musical pedigree from forming ‘The Phoneys & the Freaks’ in 2014 with former Oasis rhythm guitarist ‘Bonehead’, to performing as Paul McCartney in the ‘The Sessions’ Beatles Musical production overseen by ex Beatles Recording Engineer Geoff Emerick.

The brothers are joined by co-founding member Graham Nicholls from Frampton Cotterell, a versatile semi-professional lead guitarist, known for his ability to play just about any guitar style from Gypsy Jazz to Country music, & Drummer Stu Englefield from Winterbourne, better known as drummer for ‘The Moonloungers’, winner of the 2016 Bristol & Somerset Wedding Awards Best Wedding Entertainment act.
