demand with a good variety of individual rounds. Teams will

be of 6 people and can be sorted on the night if needed.

and provide a disco to help you dance the night away.

WADCA 40th Anniversary Celebration – Sunday 23rd April 2017

 

WADCA will be 40 years old on Sunday 23rd April (St. George’s Day). We want members new and old to come along and see the centre, share memories and enjoy the facilities. Live music from Barry Walsh’s band ‘The Shillings’ will entertain you whilst you look at stalls, play skittles and more.

We will also be offering (pre-booking) Sunday Roast at just £8.50 per head.

Ceilidh World Dance Band – Saturday 15th July 2017

Do you like dancing? Here’s an opportunity to make your Ceilidh that little bit different

by trying out easy dances from Balkan, Greek, Jewish, Welsh, English, Scottish and

American folk traditions. People of any age and ability can try circle and international

folk dances in a welcoming, relaxed and friendly environment with a very experienced

and fun caller, Hilary.
It doesn’t matter whether you are a beginner or a dancer with some experience,

the evening will match the abilities of the group.
You don’t need a partner and you don’t have to dance all the time – it’s fine to spend

the evening just enjoying the live music.

WADCA Outdoor Space Design Competition

23rd January – 17th March.
We want to utilise our outdoor spaces for the community to use.

There are 4 areas: Youth Garden – Young people will be guided in

how to learn new skills, take pride in their work and improve the

area next to Campus Skate Park.

Dementia/Sensory Garden – This will be for those who need a

calm & safe place to relax, notice & connect with nature and meet

Art Installation – We need to put WADCA on the Map!

Not enough people know what we have to offer, let alone that we

are even here!!!
Roadside design/Free Food area – Helping people to connect,

give to the community and find new friends and a sense of

purpose.
