About WADCA

Managed by local people for local people
A quick overview about WADCA

The Winterbourne and District Community Association (WADCA) was founded in 1964 to provide leisure and recreational facilities to the local inhabitants. WADCA is a voluntary organisation, entirely funded and managed by local people for local people and over the last 45 years it has provided a focus and a physical Centre for a wide range of societies and activities. Thanks to the efforts of our predecessors (see History), we enjoy large modern facilities at the Hoopers Farm site on the Watleys End Road. Membership of WADCA is open to all adults and currently stands at approximately 1000. Currently, some 15 clubs are directly associated with the Community Association.
